How you’ll make an impact
We seek an exceptionally motivated and skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our Cloud and Data solution business across the EMEA region, with a strategic focus on the DACH market.
You are not just a salesperson; you are a sophisticated advisor who understands the transformative power of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). By bridging the gap between complex technical capabilities and business value, you will create and pursue high-impact opportunities that enhance growth and profitability for both TRKKN and our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Pipeline Excellence: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline for TRKKN’s Google Cloud & AI solutions, targeting a diverse portfolio from mid-market leaders to global enterprises.
GCP Ecosystem Integration: Actively tap into the Google Cloud Sales organization, navigating their matrix to co-create joint sales plays and accelerate "better together" value propositions.
Strategic Networking: Identify new opportunities through high-level networking, industry events, and close collaboration with Google, technology vendors, and agency partners.
Full-Cycle Ownership: Lead the entire sales cycle—from initial prospecting and technical discovery to high-stakes presentations and final closing.
Consultative Selling: Partner with our cross-functional teams (Cloud Architects & Data Scientists) to translate client challenges into bespoke Google Cloud solutions.
Pitch & Proposal Mastery: Craft compelling, data-driven pitch decks and customized proposals that highlight the ROI of GCP migrations and data modernization.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for complex license fees (GCP) and professional services contracts, navigating procurement and legal requirements with ease.
Market Presence: Represent TRKKN on-site; willingness to travel (primarily within the DACH region) is essential to build deep-rooted trust with key stakeholders and attend industry events.
Data-Driven Growth: Analyze customer landscapes to identify strategic cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the wider Google ecosystem.
The person we are looking for…
Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales or Business Development, specifically within the Cloud industry.
Google Cloud Expertise: Solid understanding of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, including its core products and licensing models.
Network: An existing network within the Google Cloud organization or the broader cloud ecosystem is a significant advantage.
Communication: Fluent in English and German (min. C1), with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical C-level executives.
Mobility: A proactive mindset and the flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients and partners in person.
