Day to Day Responsibilities
As a member of the Digital Analytics Team, you’ll be responsible for the consultation, design, and delivery of Google Analytics implementations and our clients' ongoing innovation and success. The role of the Senior Digital Analytics Manager is to understand their client’s business needs, tracking requirements, and integration opportunities throughout the implementation process from kickoff to post-launch.
- Maintain an expert-level understanding of the current and future solutions across GMP including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (client-side), Data Studio (Looker)
- Independently carry out digital analytics projects and support customers throughout the entire process (consulting, implementation, QA, support, workshops/training, analysis, etc.).
- Lead/manage the design and implementation of complex tracking setups and custom feature integrations.
- Drive innovation for new features and technologies.
- Collaborate with the Google Marketing Platform and Google Product teams, including product feedback, innovation, and invites to early beta features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and IT, to ensure seamless integrations and optimize digital performance.
- Develop and execute strategies for effective 1st party data collection and implementation directly from on-site interactions
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations while implementing 1st party data as well as general tracking methods
- Conducting website assessments for measurement, server-side needs, and compliance optimization for ethical and legal tracking practices
- Managing technical projects with little oversight
- Identifying client opportunities to be included in Alphas and Betas
Technical Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in digital analytics
- Diverse and demonstrable experience in the field of Digital Analytics
- Excellent knowledge of the use and implementation of digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio, etc.), and GMP media platforms
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices for securing 1st party data.
- Holistically understanding of of 1st and 3rd party cookie- how it affects technologies .. etc.
- GA4 API knowledge and capability understanding
- Understanding the flow of data from the web to the server side and being able to communicate about the implementation.
- Intermediate JavaScript for GTM

Nice to Haves
- Degree in a quantitative field including Economics, Finance, Analytics, or Engineering is preferred.
- GAIQ certificate preferred.
- Non Google tag manager experience (Adobe / Tealium).
- Python, Sandbox JS APIs, or other coding language experience (including AppScript)
- Selling products and services.
- Exposure in creating custom templates in ssGTM and client-side GTM.
